I'm trying to put together a good spike build. I know air spiking is dead. Air spiking does still have some good damage still but i was thinking of a mix of frag mesmers and air elemental spikers. now i was thinking no tanks 3 air spikers 2 frag mesmers and 1 shutdown mesmer and 2 monks one protection one healing. since everyones going to be taking damage why not make one of the monks a decoy turn the protection monk into a tank decoy. now most of the group will be monk secondary, so everyone will be able to heal themselfs basicly. also i was thinking that the mesmers should be necro, curses, to help on dam maybe one of the e/mo using smites.
skills are unknown at the moment (i play as a tank 99% of the time).
Suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Hmm, you say you "know air spikes are dead" yet you're still taking them? I personally disgree with using X/Mo as a selfhealer, I'd rather have an extra dedicated healer and lose a spiker.

Air spike is not dead. The only time it wasnt viable was when fertile season dominated. Energy denial is not all that common in tombs, neither is fertile, making it viable. Not as effective as before certainly as you have to use orb more than chain but it's still effective vs smite. Vs IWAY is iffy.
