This also explains the sudden rise of comments on not geting any drops when playing with henches only

I hit the jackpot with that bug. I had 8 ecto drop in a 2 hour run of the UW. No one else(hardly) was getting anything. It got to be really embarassing

I figured the purples without mods meant that you were finding a good item and a low-level area. I found a few of these before Yak's Bend... all were "good", low req, and no mod

I just did a quick flurry in Grenth's with a full party of henchies. I killed 30 bosses.

Total loot value, 2200 (2 blues, 1 purple. 0 gold)
Greens found, 2 (17th+18th boss killed)
Chests opened, 0

Not bad for an hours work.

Thankyou ArenaNet. You still have that charm i see.

Funny thing is, anyone who saved one of those No Mod Purple or Golds will now have a nice hugely Rare item on their hands.

Bah! I think the patch has fixed nothing when it comes to the drops... I tested it out for 30 mins, here what I go when farming near the War Camp:

Team:

Me
Devona (NPC)
Cynn (NPC)
Mhenlo (NPC)
Lina (NPC)

Loot I got:

310gold (My Share)
4 Stone Summit Badges (34g)
1 Blue Raven Staff (136g)
1 White Raven Staff (55g)
1 Gold Round Shield (204g)
1 Grim Cesta (50g)
1 White Giant's Boot Armor (53g)

This included about 30 mobs and 1 boss... my total share 842 gold...

No greens, purples and nothing much a load of rubbish whites items! I mean come on there something wrong here. Hardly anything dropped for me at all.

umm... in that team, if each enemy drops 1 item you should get around 6 things. some mobs drop more than one so that explains the 9 drops.

how can you expect to get a green after killing just one boss? you have less than a 1/5 chance of getting a green (1/5 assuming all bosses always drop greens, they don't)

and you did get a gold, and a blue.

very good run actually....

hang on, i think my sarcasm detector is acting up...

Did you even read the patch note or are you just looking for something to complain about? It said, FIXED UNEQUAL LOOT DISTRIBUTION, nothing about the quality of drops.

Are they not getting an equal distribution as you? just that there's 4 of them, and one of you, so it seems they are getting more.
