Shield Vs Chimeric Prism

I currently use this as my shield. It gives me maxAR 16 butalso gives me +5 energy for my warrior.



It swirls around your hand and looks very neat. I was thinking of using a shield but cant find one with added energy thats better than this

Is there a shield with added energy always and is it strenght based

I haven't ever cone across a shield with energy bonuxm this 'shield' you're using is not only cool loooking but gives you max AL and lots of energy if using the correct subclass... Just one question, where did you get it ?

Well, if you REALLY need that 5 energy, keep the Prism, but I'd take a shield with +30HP always and -2DMG(enchanted) over that thing anyday.

And, no, there is no +energy shield.

if you need more energy get a +5 energy sword. (very rare since the update)

Just curious, what pre-order is this from? I'm intrigued now.

European beta testers had it as part of a thank you. you can not trade it or even show people in the trade window.

What your preorder item depends where you preordered it from. I preordered from Gameplay.co.uk so I got the Chimeric Prism. USA has loads of preorder items varying from store to store even lol.

The Chimeric Prism is a good item for warrior that wants more energy, but there are shields that give better bonuses and you can then just use gladiators armor for the energy. Plus it’s virtually useless for a ranger in standard conditions, its only good for trapping etc. Plus casters can get better focuses anyway, it just gives the standard +12 energy that you get with a max focus item, without any extras. So its not as good as it looks.

Yeah, the prism was added last. Igot the Cathan Targe Shield by pre-ordering from best buy. I still use my Targe sometimes, and wish you could show people in the trade window. So many people i played with in pvp arena are like "what shield is that?" and then get mad when i say i cant show it to them. lol they just dont belive it wont go in the trade window.

Amen, I use the Canthan Targe as well. But GEEZ why 10 tactics?! ;_; I wish they made it like the prism where it only needed 8 tactics [it's only 14 armor so why not lower the tactics requirement a little?

However, at 8 strength, you gain 30 hp from Canthan Targe and at 8 weapon mastery you gain 2 energy.

30hp + 2 energy is Awesome for a warrior... [if you get the right skills, it's about 25 total energy when regen is factored in.]

Wish i had one of those all i got was the Ithas Bow. Yeah its a pretty good bow early on, unless your not a ranger.

That is a very nice shield for a warrior what with the +26 armor if you have 8's in strength and tactics
