I don't think it is right people can get all the skills in Ember Light camp if they haven't been to all the towns.
As it is now, you can go run to Droknar's , then to Thudnerhead. Then you can get to Ember Light Camp and get all skills without passing any towns.
I propose the following measure(s):
-You can only get skills that are in cities you have been to (if you haven't been to Maguuma Stade, you can't buy skills from Maguuma Stade, you must travel there beforehand)
-If you have not been to a town, the skills from that town are (Locked) so that you know you are missing a town

And besides, at what level are when you're runned to Droknars? 13-14?
No one would bring a level 13 to the Thunderhead Keep mission.

So??? a person who does this is obviously going to be experienced and not wanting to go to every place for the 100th time like i have 6 level 20's i dont wanna be doing all the things again it bores the hell out of you, and even then its not as easy as just getting a quick run to ember, you gotta find a competant group to do it or guild and even then theres no huge bonus with getting them skills because they arent exactly elite skills, what would be the difference in getting a axe attack that does 26 damage or one that does 22, or a healing skill that heals for 5 more, wow

They placed it at the last 'town' in the game for a reason, because it's not easy to get there and anyone arriving there that far ahead of schedule is not going to have the Skills Points to purchase skills to the heart's content.
As far as the argument peopl like schutz make to justify running and whatnot... please shut up. If the act of PLAYING this game bores you then please move on to something new.

whats the point of going to ember light camp if you have to go to the skill trainer that has the skill first?!?

who cares. if the skill get unlocked for pve, its good for you, cus the dude is on your team. if the skill is unlocked for pvp, who cares? faction is a much easier way to unlock...
btw....ember light camp has a skill trainer...which is the reason to go there. he has every skill in the game except elites, whoever posted above me.

Yes, ANET should nerf all the usefulness out of the new NPC... because it's somehow easier for people to get run to Ember Light Camp than to Grendich Courthouse, Beetletun and Maguuma Stade...
