Ok, I just recently got my Monk ascended (yay, me), and I noticed the strangest thing. My mirrior was wielding a Bow. I didn't have a bow with me, so why did my Mo/E Mirrior get to use a bow?

Not like it mattered all that much, I took him in one try, but still, where in Tyria did that bow come from?

Doppleganger has bow and axe. It only "mirrors" the skills you have in your skill bar.

Zer doppelganger alzo uses sword unt hammer skills with his wunderaxe.
However, if you give him bow skills he vil not use zem up close because he is a dirty axe lover.

I just read that, and I about laughed at zee german accent /laugh

But yup, depending on close or far, or on will, he can use sword/hammer/axe/bow, I mostly always recieve him using the bow..yay for ranged melee.. but if you have to up-close him <like say, a warrior> he uses zee wunderaxe of doom <not really, but you get zee idea>
