unlimited enchantments with ele/mo

I remmeber seeing a picture of a ele/mo with unlimited enchantments so he had -10 enegry and with glyph of lesser enegry or something he could keep them up, can anyone care to link me to the pic of give me the build.

Next time learn how to use the search button. Also, it's not glyph of lesser energy (lol), it's ether renewal.

umm.... seriously... learn how to use the search button... i typed in the obvious "Ether Renewal" and "unlimited enchantmants" and it took me right to that thread... jeez...

Wow, that's really cool... But I am kind of new to the Elmo build, so mind showing me how it works? Wouldn't him run out of energy is exactly 0.00023 seconds with all those enchantment on him? Even if the degen caps at 10, that's still a LOT of mana degen.

Ether Renewal gives him 4 energy per enchantment on him whenever he casts a spell. As long as it's up, he can spam Divine Boon and have all the energy he could ever ask for.

Also, energy degen caps at 10 arrows just like health degen, no matter how enchantments you're maintaining, which isn't so much if you have a ton of energy storage and aren't casting much.

Actually, you simply need to be more effective in your usage of the search function.

well for starters I didnt know it was ether renewal and with unlimited enchantments I got so many and I did check a few but since I didnt know it was ether renewall I didnt click that thread

I just searched "unlimited enchantments" via the search feature and all I got was 22 threads. Was it really that hard to go through 22 threads to find what you were looking at?

You allready said yourself why using the search function wouldn't have worked in this case. If you lack the exact term you're searching for the best search function won't help at all.
So next time, learn to stay friendly and don't bother reading or replying if this troubles all of you that much. There are a lot worse things going on in this board. For example elitists going rampant with a downright asshole attitude and no one stopping them.

Like I said, there's a limit of 10 arrows. Once you're at 10 degen, adding more maintained enchantments won't affect your energy at all. (Unless somebody uses Blood Is Power or something on you, in which case the "extra" degen arrows will still cancel out the regen arrows.) -10 arrows is 3.3 energy lost per second - that's nothing compared to how quickly Ether Renewal gives you energy, and with 16 energy storage and a 15/-1 wand, you have more than enough energy to wait around for ER to recharge without hitting zero.

small note:

if a person posts a message asking to find some info on an already mentioned and discussed topic.

and if that person for whatever reason was unable to find that info via the search function (not bothering, not knowing key words, not clicking the right link etc.)

and if you have a problem with that person taking up your time

dont answer them

no time wasted

you wasted more time with the petty and silly flame attempts



for the peeps wanting to know

get ether renewal, spec in energy storage till you get about 5energy for each enchantment in the ether renewal description.

also get aura of restoration, divine boon, vital blessing.

get 7 henchies, go into a some area and put aura, divine, and vital on yourself.

then proceed to cast vital on each of the henchies, each time your energy gets to around 25-30, cast ether renewal on yourself and spam divine boon on yourself until your energy is full.

from this youll get the principle idea and a little practice.

this idea also works for smiting with zealots fire and spamming some skill on a teammate.

after you get the hang of it, just take in more maintained enchants and see how many you can keep up

It's not an actual build, it was done to show that Ether Renewal is overpowered and easily abused.

It's not abused really though is it? Those enchantments don't stack AFAIK so the most you can have is as many as you can carry - 5 or 6. Plus along comes a Necro or Mesmer and blasts your Enchantments and you'll be sorry
