Which one allows you to attack faster?

I heard somewhere that TF actually increased the attack rate by 50% rather than 33%

Also, if you have a +20% duration enchantment sword, does that enchantment bonus still work in full if you do not meet the requirements for the sword?

lol...aparantly the misconception is back, it had died down for a while.

tigers fury and frenzy increase atk rate by 33% but that increased means a damage increase of 50%

and yes for the enchant thing

All attack speed buffs work the same way. They are reducing the time for each attack by 33%, which increases the number of attacks you get by 50%. It's a bizarre notation ANet uses for these.

but it requires 1)second class 2)special attribute - it is normal to be more effective.

For christ sakes, Flurry sucks (faster by 33% , but damaging less by 33% or something)

Tiger's Fury (faster for 33% holds up for various seconds, disables all non-attack skills AND takes up 10 energy, which is a major let down for warriors who have avg. of 20)

Frenzy (faster for 33%, but takes double the damage)

I chose Frenzy, since double the damage of a Warrior doesn't really matter, for if you were PvP, monks SHOULD be able to be healing you like crazy, and protection spells on you. If you can, you can also you Watch Yourself or whatever your secondary class has for protection.

BUT, if you were to choose either TF or Flurry, go for TF.

First of all, it reduces your damage from attacks by 25%, and it "sucking" is just a blind observation by you who obviously hasn't had much experience with the actual skill. You probably just read the description and dismissed it, much like alot of other people.

Strangely I have just posted an in-depth little guide to the mechanic's of Flurry. You can see inside the guide how you get the +50% (more like...44% or so) number of attacks increase from a +33% speed boost. You just have to use your brain a little bit...anyways, here's link: Flurry Guide
