From what I've heard, there's supposed to be another part of Forgotten Ones/Wisdom that involves you knocking down the statue to get across to finish Wisdom. You're supposed to use the Legendary Weapon or something like that to knock it down. Apparently though that part never made the cut.

Well that's too bad; that would have been really cool! As it is now, the statue merely changes from standing up to lying down when you get close enough -- no animation even
theVariable
I just like how you see the statue standing there when it's off in the distance, and then it instantly falls into a bridge. No animation, it just instantly tilts 90 degrees. Good stuff.
EDIT: Joe beat me to it...

They need to put it back in then.

While u r at it ... got this one, what's his story?

I think after telling you about his people's Legendary Weapon, Yannel should offer to demo it for you..
Trouble is, he doesn't know what he's doing, and winds up going Killroy on the statue instead

this legendary weapon could be the same weapon the charr used on ascalon??

*Potential Spoilers*
I don't think so... the Charr worship the Titans. Somehow they were able to invoke their power to devastate Ascalon. Remember those altar like structures in the cinematic. Apparently the Titans aren't completely powerless behind the Door of Komalie,

That's why I put *Spoilers* there. If you haven't finished the game, that won't make much sense.
The Charr clearly worship the Titans. The burning effigys that you see in the Breach, Eastern Frontier, and Diessa Lowlands are clearly images of the Titans. They look exactly the same as the Burning Titans in Hell's Precipice. Furthermore, the lore book talks about the gods the Charr worship as reveling in flame and destruction. The connection to me is obvious.

It is true that the Charr worship the titans. I guess people don't bother wondering why there are lvl 24 charr running around instead of slain bodies, or the reason the titans made their source of power near Ascalon and their followers.

This is to reply the question about Mingas the Meek.
I have only found one purpose for him which leads to something with no purpose (as of yet).
If you talk to him, or rather, just click on him, he'll drop a tattered shred, which is supposedly one of the items for the non-existent Gwen "quest".

The milk shake
yeah the legendary wep would have the atk of a hammer, and the speed of a sword, and can knockdown, cripple, bleed, deep wound, weakness blind... all conditions and all hexes with every hit, they automatically lose all items, skills EVERYTHING*account deleted kinda thing* and have to start a new char, and their storage is emptied as well...., and they lose their friends n guild, and start at lv0 with 1 health and -1 attributes, like sever artery 1 sec duration, conjure 1 sec duration, vamp gaze, you die, they live, and firestorm, u die they get healed, and retribution=everytime u hit them u die.

The Charr also seem to make effigys of Mursaat.. I'm wondering what their connection is as well.
Aracos79
Where are those supposed to be? I've never seen them myself, at least I don't remember, and would like to check that out.
Charcoal Ann
i thought they were effigys of the Lich, not Mursaat.

Hmmm... well to me they more closely resemble the Mursaat (mostly the asterisk-shaped group of sticks across their backs that does it for me), but now that I think about it, it would make much more sense if that was the Lich given the Titan effigies, so I'm sure you're right.

In regards to the OP:
There's an NPC in one of the desert outposts called 'Tina Brunn' She gives a quest to go find Yannel Brunn

*Spoilers Again*
Uhm, the Vizier destroyed Orr and turned into the lich when trying to fend off the Charr invasion of his own land.
I don't think they worship him, I think it's the Mursaat and the Titans.
The Lich/Vizier just wanted to use the Titans to take over Tyria, but the way he talks about the Charr and that also at some points... you'd wonder if he'd just find it ironic that he use the Charr's own gods as the means of getting revenge for Orr on them.
At the set up point for the last mission, there is a ghost that tells you about how the Vizier destroyed Orr to try to stop the Charr invasion of his land. So I think that's prety well setup.

Yeah, and the Charr seem to be worshipping the Titans since the Pre-Searing, so that 3 years and 6 months now (yeah, that's right, 6 months ago the game released ), since the Titan statues are also in the Northlands in Pre-Searing. There are no Mursaat statues in Pre-Searing though, and the ones in Post-Searing burn if I remember correctly, so I'm not sure they worship them, or hate them. So if the Vizier did turn into the Lich instead of being him all along, I think Arashi is right. It does sound logical, that's for sure.
beleg curudin
I think it would make sense to say the burning Mursaat effigys mean the course of history, meaning the Titans will scorch the land of the mursaat. But I do no think what brought down the wall were Titan magic. Seriously if they could do that then they are really holding back in the fights i been in. It might be explained in a future installment. Its to obscured to say that Charr magic is Titan magic, after all the Charr come from the North, so there might be some kinda thing the unearthed up there, that they used.

As for the Ancient Weapon, it's still in the game (or was when I found it a few weeks ago), you can find it in the city ruins in NW Arid Sea. It doesn't do anything as far as I can tell though.
