NetErr=7 is killing me :o

I've played GW for about 3months it has all been GooD. But the latest 24hours, when i connect it takes about 30-60sec until the game freezes and i get the following (it's like ArenaNet has a timer on me):

->Guild Wars could not complete the operation.
->Please try again in a few minutes. (NetErr=7)

I does not matter what i'm doing or where i am in the game, it still gets me.
I have tried 2 do a full virus/spy scan. Usuly i got Skype running on the background, but i've tried disabling it, but with no results.

Here are some details on my system:
Windows XP Home SP2
AVG Free Edition
Web Root Spy Sweeper
Linksys WAG54G V.2 /w Norton

My connection is:
ADSL 1024/254

Something similar happened to me for a period. I got the same thing after 20 minutes of doing Dragon's Lair.

I just gave up playing for a day or two and it worked fine after that.

Try giving your com a break. It's weird but sometimes it helps.

My GW runs as it should again (phew), the problem was with my ISP.

How did you fixed this problem exactly?
Cuz' I'm running in to a wave of those NetErr=7's.

I am having same problem,like sometimes I can log in for like 5-10 mintues,or like last night for 4 hours,and then my internet just like disconnects,but I can play games like Battlefiedl 2 fine alone,anyone know when Anet while have this problem fixed?

I have a wireless connection and i dis all the time, but if i run both yahoo and msn messengers im lag free most of the time. Even if i do lag, i open a web page and the lag is gone.

Strange i know, but it works for me.

Some problems that can cause it:

Old wires. Bad wires. Something is wrong with the connection you have. Sometimes services won't work. Yahoo SBC DSL just disconnects all of a sudden sometimes for me. Try seeing if you have any spyware on your computer. Maybe the internet is not just strong enough at times, as weird as it may seem. Ie. Certain times of day people around you are using the internet at hi-speeds, making it longer for the whole area to load stuff. This happens to me at 5:00pm everyday

But see for me,it will happen at anytime of day,so its weird,maybe need to try new cable thing.

im positive verizon is out to get me. im serious they spy on me, and as soon as i get to the hoh they cut my connection. bastards.

Ya im having this same problem and i can see the effects before i get the neterror=7 cause i usually cant aggro the monsters so i just run around a lot. i only have enough time to farm a lil bit of the grawls outside Surmia or hunt the elementals outside the town with The Troublesome Artifact

Sorry to drag this thread back to life, but I just started having this problem. Yesterday, I'm in the middle of Sanctum Cay mission and hit massive lag-like issues. I got through the mission, the whole time with delays, warping places, etc., and called it quits. Then, today, I logged on (downloaded the patch fine) but it stuck at the loading page for a min. or 2. I finally got into town, but I couldn't move or interract with the environment or npcs. I restarted my comp., then tried again and couldn't get past the loading page.... just froze at 100%, but wouldn't go into town. It ended with getting booted and the neterr=7 message.

I don't think the problem is my pc (though I did remove and replace the video card yesterday). It is clean of spyware and viruses (Norton, adaware se, spybot, xcleaner, and microsoft antispyware). Also, for the brief amounts of time I could actually get into the game, I noticed my fps was normal (60 or 61), but my bytes/sec. were low (30-60 last night and 0 today!!!!, instead of the usual 600-800). I'm just wondering if any of you guys figured out the cause or cure for this, or if waiting is still the solution. Is it just ISP (verizon DSL) hiccups, or would something like unistalling and reinstalling help. Thanks one and all.
