Blessings of Balthazar quest problems

I've completed the Blessings of Balthazar quest from Brother Mhenlo with a Ranger/Monk and received the 250exp but I did not get the skills Retribution and Symbol of Wrath. I was just wondering if any secondary Monk got these skills in Pre-Searing. If no other secondary (or possibly even primary) Monk did, I'd like to request an edit of the guide found at the link above.

Same here. He didn't give me Retri/Symbol either.

It's been changed, I sent a PM to THX on the matter.

He should edit the files stating that, and hopefully soon. We don't want to dissapoint any Monks (like me).

I didn't get the skills, and it's not labeled a Primary Profession Only quest (I'm a W/Mo).

I made a monk/elementalist and got the spells symbol of wrath and retribution. I went out of the noob zone at level 4 so i re rolled. I have a level 6 monk/mesmer now but I cant for the life of me remember where to get those spells. Anyone?

my guess is its based upon what your primary is

I am a ranger.monk and did not get it but my wife is a elementalist/monk and she did get it

I merged several threads on the same issue. There is currently a bug with the "Blessings of Balthazar" quest, in which Mhenlo does not initially give you the skills when you take the quest. The developers know of this, and will hopefully have it fixed within the next day or two, but until it's fixed, you simply have to talk to Mhenlo a second time and ask him about the Blessings of Balthazar quest before you actually complete the quest. He'll give you the skills at that time. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anyway to get the skills rewarded if you've already completed the quest- you can buy them after going through the academy, or hope that when they fix the quest, the skills will become unlocked for you(though I wouldn't expect this to be the case).

Crap..... I recreated my monk and already finished that quest. Was wondering where they went. *Sigh* guess I need to recreate him a 3rd time!!!!
