Fire artifacts..

Hey all,

Quick question on artifacts and stuff.. Im a Elementalist, all my skill points go into fire.. I'm a pyro character :P I was just wondering.. I weild a flame wand and a grim cesta, as it adds more energy than anything I've found so far.

If I was to get a Flame Artifact instead of the Cesta, would my damage increase? Makes sense to me, but it doesn't seem to say so in the item description.

Stuff like artifacts and armor sets that are attributed to an element just look cool, they don't actually give you any hidden bonus that isn't listed.
