I dont know if anybody has pulled it off or even tryed but i think it has to be worth a shot. Take a look at this screen shot.

If your wondering what im on about this screenshot was takin while exploring in pre sear, and this is the group of charr that cast the searing which destroys the world basically.

So --- has anybody tried killing these charr before the searing and would it in turn stop the searing from happening!!!!!!! omg hax

ok so its not likely that a) you could kill them b) it would do anything special
but its worth a try and even have a run out there yourself it gets to a point where the sky changes as you move back and forth (very cool effect have to see it firsthand)

Of course you can kill them... and no it wouldn't do anything special.

my friend did it. took her quite a bit of time but its not impossible seeing that there is no death penalty.

personally its only there really if you want to get to level 10+ before going to post searing (btw, its impossible to do alone usually).

Its not that hard to kill them.
I started soloing them at level 8 with my W/N.
Yeah you die heaps, but its kinda fun.
Tip: play the luring game.

You can get purple items (yes, even runes even though there are no expert salvage kits in pre-searing), which would be the best items you can get from pre-searing.
Of course, those items translate into garbage once you head into post-searing.

Exactly, all you have to do is lure, and kill in small groups (or one at a time) and if you die? who cares? theres no dp.

I've done it too with a random lvl 10 E/R helping out. It's not to hard once you get the general idea (and I got a necromancer soul reaping rune off of it).

Another fun thing to do is beat all the charr that chase you in the great wall mission, go through the gate and explore the cinematic area.

Killing those charr is fun and a good training exercise.

You have to use tactics and teamwork to pull it off, well with a couple of level 8s anyway. I expect it would be very simple for the odd lvl14 you see in Pre-Sear.

Ok just to confirm i know its not really a challenge it was just a title to get replys quick, i found them while mucking around but was to low lvl to kill them and wanted to know if anything happens or if it was a waste of time.

And btw ultimate challenge ~ for me ~ solo mursaat farming build (multi class mursaat groups that is)

lexar you really cant do this for a long time becuase theres a 2 minute time limit in wich you have to get to the gate before the mission ends(have killed the charr there before though alot of dyes you can get there too

monk solo smite and el/mo solo smite can take them all in 2 minutes.. I haven't tested the warrior griffon build...but I'd venture to say they can as well
