It's the same as buying I/G stuff off Ebay. He's just using his account as the money instead. The way I see it he's buying 200 ecto and 200 shards for 50 bucks.

that having been said, how much would that kind of materials cost to buy on ebay?
im wondering because he may have done this as a cheaper way to get fissure if they exceed $50.

It's not that strange if you ask me. If I got 2 Guild Wars CD-Keys for my bithday for example, I maybe would've done the same. I've had fun with my account, and then I'll begin with the second account, and take enough stuff for the Fissure of Woe armor with me, isn't that a great idea?

I guess that is a little different than buying the game for $50 and selling it for ecto/shards...

But a couple level 20's isn't worth much more than $50 really so....And i doubt he's leaving any rare items and gold on the account. Prob just naked chars.

bump for you...but don't think it'll sell. In GW you level so fast it doesn't really matter anyways. What matters are items, skills unlocked, armor, and maybe rank. (a rank 9 tiger wouldn't be so bad right?)

Rank is just a number....you need the knowledge behind the builds and skills that MAKE you get to that rank. Maybe you need the team that a person might have played with all the time.

If you price ecto at 7k and shards at 3k his b/o is ungodly high unless he throws in about a mil in gold and some good items. His b/o is equal to about $200 dollars, and thats if you find a good deal on gold on ebay.
