I've recently started a 3rd character a Warrior, and i use the keys c and <space> to attack a monster in PvE. However I find that the W doesn't attack straight away, instead he stops and stands still for a second and then attacks.
I never had this problem with my Neco or Ranger. Is there any way to get the warrior to attack in a smooth flow, rather than in a stop start manner? Is this due to the path finding method of the game?

I have the same problem when changing targets too. If I press tab then spacebar, i will stop for a bit.
If you play a long rang character, its most likely you don't notice it because you have time in between hits, or might be close enough. For warriors, they have to run up to them. Why does it stop in mid? No clue.

I might try the click and <spacebar>, but I'm not a big fan of using the mouse to target, especially with groups of monsters. And yeah I have noticed that some W's don't have the problem but others do.
One way I've tried is to use c to select the target and then clicking on a skill e.g power attack. This generates a smooth attack run. The problem is that the entire run to the target is skill usage and it leaves you open to Cry of Frustation and other knockdown interrupts.

Spacebar makes the character stop and start attacking.. It's to assure that if you're moving, you don't interrupt the action and end up standing there looking foolish. (As most know, moving while attacking causes you to stop completely. Chances are if you're running and decide to attack there's still a small delay between releasing the run button and attacking. That's why it has a delay--to disengage run, lock the run key, and start attacking the target)
