I run a healing monk, and I hear all this hype about Healing Seed. Frankly, unless I'm going to be in a healing ball team, I don't take it along. It is rather useless to me. It doesn't last long enough, it doesn't give enough health for the damage that someone takes in organized PvP... (by the way, I'm talking Tombs builds I see where this is put in as a omg must wtf).
In Comp arenas I can understand it... but unless you're doing a healing ball it doesn't seem very worthwhile to me in Tombs...

Really? Guess I'm not around as much as others then, because never really of healing seed being a must. Are these warriors talking that can't take the damage themselves?
I don't use it much, but I sure would have something else than healing seed. Can have instead healing hands, or mark of protection.

Before it's big nerf Healing Seed had a duration that was as long or longer than its recharge (around 25ish seconds I believe).
It was MUCH better than it is now. Most people don't even take it anymore.

It isn't bad for PvE or particular PvP circumstances. I personally like it better than healing breeze, which has a comparable duration, energy cost and casting time. If someone is getting pounded by a couple of enemies with high attack rates but low damage, this spell is perfect. That said, I basically never use it in PvP, and don't use in PvE much in the late game.

Well, theres nothing better to take along. Unless..you wan't to suggest breeze? Then you automatically get booted from my team if your the healing monk.
