Scroll of Unequal Loot Distribution

When this scroll is active, if another team member would get better
loot than you, you get their drop instead. This should be easy to
implement -- simply activate the older (broken) loot distribution
that was recently fixed

Scroll of Lucky Loot

When this scroll is active, the given player's drops are upgraded;
a regular drop becomes blue, blue becomes purple, a purple
becomes gold, and a gold drop gets one additional modifier
(thanks to Kyten for reminding me about blue drops)

erm how about this, normal become blue, blue becomes purp,purp become gold, and thats as high as it goes, because what would they call a green ettins pauldron? (i farm ettins)

I thought about this, but the problem with having scrolls that increase drop rates is that it's a negative feedback loop - you buy the scroll, which causes you to gain better loot and thus more money, which gets you more scrolls, etc.

Simple: make the scrolls available only from drop, maintaining a positive economy :P

Actually....ANet tried to reduce the gold in the economy. Its rediculously inflated right now...

I dont think they really want this too much. They solved the loot problem for max items with greens...

"lucky loot" wouldn't be a problem - who said the rare item has to be that good? Take some purple drop - say, a staff with a +23 health wrap. With the loot scroll just add a +2 insightful head and change the color to gold and, viola! Instant rare!

Or a purple Giant's Boots of Major Vigor transforms into gold Giant's Boots of Major Vigor.
