New Green Staff can not be upgraded with Head or Wrappings

So... has it been confirmed that you can not add the normal staff upgrades.

i.e., wrappings of enchantment, insightful staff head.

If this is true, i really don’t see an advantage of the green staffs. I have a Brohn's Staff that is not really any better than my Holy staff with mods.

Any answers would be helpful. And yes I spent 2 hours searching this site and others and didn’t get a straight answer.

Although GWonline and GW Guru are outstanding sites...this search engine and the one on GWonline really don’t seem to do a very good job. GWonline search engine is absolutely horrible and GW Guru isn’t a whole lot better. So I think if you want to post nasty little pithy saying about using search engines maybe you should go into detail on how to find things with such a crapy search engine.

The green staffs do already have upgrades on them really.

Brohns staff is really just a max damage staff, with 20% casting speed healing prayers and the quick recovery as its innate bonus's ... and it has perfect health mods for its upgrades for the +60 health.

It would be a bit obscene if they could be upgraded any further.

Nope, Green weapons do not exceed what can already exist in-game as modded weapons with good inherent stats.

And you can't upgrade them further, or shift their upgrades in any way.

Perfection comes at the cost of costomizability. I like it.

Good tradeoff, I agree. But I hate gold...its ugly. I want a green item just because its green...

And who thought of purple? Blue is cooler than that!
