Isn't the idea of people being officers the fact that you can trust them to know who to promote and who to invite? I mean, perhaps I am mistaken and do not know officers can promote to say...officer status, which is just stupid, but, many guilds which fall apart think officer is just a title to throw onto anyone who happens to be in a long time, rather than a person you can trust to help manage the guild, which it should be.
Can someone tell me the ranks in the guild and their powers? Realistically the only ones of importance are GM, O(fficer), V(eteran), M(ember), R(ecruit), if you even want to go as far with all three of the end ones, it depends on the scale and guild length, and V M R don't really change powers, only one has more say and seniority than the last.
