Favor Statistics 09-13-05 - 09-21-05

Here are this weeks favour stats from 19:30 on the 13th of September to 23:59 on the 21st of September 05



A few things to note.
This week I have included the hours in which I have no firm data(in Gray) . I.e people not watching the favour changes for me.

I round up the figures to the nearest half hour, which makes my job a lot simpler and over the course of a week does not affect the figures that much(I did it exactly for the first two days and found that the rounding errors made little difference)

America’s favour share was down this week, which allowed both Korea and Europe to make gains.

I believe the main reason for the drop is because of the apparent ‘green rush’ taking place in America for Sorrows Furnace which has diverted many players away from PvP and back into PvE. It will be interesting to see if the trend continues or resumes back to the start of the month pattern.

The pattern for favour is also seeming(to me anyway) to match the size ratio’s of the various regions where America’s strong showing in non Peak times is down to migrated players.

EU has been getting favor more in peak hours, but it is usually short lived, lasting only around two hours. Korea has been holding favour more and for longer at the expense of America and Europe.

Using my days of the week analogy, where I have condensed all the hours a region has favour into a 7 day week

Europe had favour for all of Sunday, until 2am Monday
Korea had favour from 2am Monday to 7am Wednesday morning
America had Favour from 7am Wednesday to midnight Saturday

I wont reproduce the chart here as it’s too large but the cumulative figures for favour since the 31st of August are..

EU 13.9%
Korea 18.8%
America 67.3%
Out of a total hours of 447.5

Days of the week picture for the month so far looks like

Europe had favour for all of Sunday, until 11:30pm
Korea had favour from 11:30 pm Sunday to 6am Tuesday morning
America had Favour from 6am Tuesday to midnight Saturday

Feel free to spectulate/point out my bad math. But please don’t suggest fixes or otherwise for the WaW system, as there are other threads that do this
