No official information has been released about chapter 2 other than it'll be out in the first half of 2006. This is simply just a pre-order from Sendit, telling them you want it when they get it. I've seen a few others out there, but no official chapter 2 pre-order box like what was done for the initial release of GW.

Lots of stores like to make their own release dates, don't ask me why. As for the price, you'll notice that's the typical price for new games. Considering the fact that a.net announced that chapter 2 will have just as much "content" as the original, and it'll be competetively priced, I'm counting on seeing a 50$ expansion.

Game prices are likely on the rise though. Most people are forecasting a $60 price point for games on the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. I don't know if that will carry over to PC games, but I wouldn't be surprised. If PC publishers find that the market (us) is buying up the $60 games without much complaint, they'll bump the PC prices too so they can cash in.

Console games have always been more pricy than PC games. That said, newly released triple-a titles already cost close to the equivalent of $60 US here in Europe; e.g. I paid close to the equivalent of $55 US for Guild Wars.

Considering the amount of time and effort to produce a game nearly matches that of the average Movie i'm not surprised prices are creeping up.

You won't find newly released games in Denmark for under 500 kr,- ; which is approximately 80 US dollars, which is why I stock up on consoles and console games whenever I visit the states.

I paid £17 for it when it was brand new... that's about $35?

No longer a forecast for next-gen games. They are $59.00 per games if you planning on getting xbox360 or ps3. check on ebgames or other games site to see the pricing for the next-gen system games.

But on a serious side, I think we just nerf the "nerfers" and everything would be just fine.
