I set out today to complete my four quests in sorrows one after the other with henchies first time of trying.

The first three go off without a problem till I do the Priest one where he asks for someone to stay on stairs whilst I go looking for Crystals.

Henchies

I Collect my first crystall and he suddenly dies on stairs

RETURN TO OUTPOST

4 hours wasted although I did get three quests out the way.

Should have more control on henchies.

You can do that one with henchmen too. When you agro Blastrocks patrol will spawn to come after the priest. So instead of fighting run back to the priest immediately after agro then go back for crystal later. TO get henchmen to stop fighting and follow you during retreat: target yourself and call target on yourself while running away.

Easiest way with henchmen is when you first enter sorrow's and go to your right, run past him before you get to the first dredge group or so

A friend told me just that I was like "Whaaat?" and I did that when I thought it was time, pretty early on and he stood back and did nothing while I went on with the henchies, he glitched and stayed back.

No mobs or anything come near him so you can take your time and do it all real easy collect all the crystals near the stairs, go back up to him, and he will follow you then, bring him to his spot give him the 4 things and yay.

even though he's not at the stairs the patrols still come to it as if he was, so it's fun taking them all out at once 'cause they're so silly.

That Alkar quest is definately easier with 8 real people. Leave one on the stairs and get him to call out for help when he gets attacked. Everyone then runs back to assist - did it easily that way. Wouldn't like to mess around with henchies on that one.
