wat is best for a necro mes?

I just started a new character, a Necomancer/Mesmer, and I cant decide what skills to use to survive in the post-searing. Can anyone help me out? I would really appreciate it.

focus on life stealing will help in quite some way... and perhaps use mes for the energy, or add on to the life siphon + conjure phantasm.
