I'm interested in what skills you guys bring to the Underworld or Fissure of Woe.

I'm a warrior/monk who just brings his farming skills. Other than that, no clue what to bring there.

If others would like, please post up other build skills to help others.

Me/

A FoW Mesmer build that works for me:

Mesmer/Warrior
fast casting 7+1
domination magic 12+4
inspiriation magic 10+1
tactics 4

echo {e}
backfire
power drain
cry of frustration
shatter hex
spirit of failure
watch yourself
[shield's up/ether feast/chaos storm -- see below]

I've found this to be a generally good build to take down into the fissure. It sports some group defense, offense, and general utility. For the final slot, I'll look at what I need to flesh out a team/defend myself. I never bother wasting a slot on res signet because I'm generally the first target after the tanks let something slip.

For that final slot, I cycle between three options. If I know the healer, I'll carry Shield's Up to boost the squishies' AR against those annoying ranged attackers. (I'm always by the Monks and Elementalists, so they're always in the radius of the effect.) If I don't know the healer, I'll bring along Ether Feast -- Monks have a tendency to ignore me when I'm low on health, and EF is all I really have access to without dipping into my Domination attribute to fuel tactics for a healing signet. Finally, if we have a full protection monk, or some other means of global protection (an elementalist with wards, for instance), I'll run Chaos Storm in that last slot because it can be useful when the tanks herd all the enemy casters together.

Knowing what to Echo is critical to your success

Looking...

E/

I usually run a steam E/Mo build for UW, works for FoW too:

Fire: 12+4 16
Energy Storage: 11+1 12
Healing: 6
Water: 2+1

Skills:
Glyph of Energy {e}
Glyph of Concentration
Maelstrom
Metor Shower
Fireball
Rogdort's Invocation
Healing Breeze
Rebirth

Maelstrom for interupts, glyph of concentration for mindblades. In FoW can be substituded with a nuke such as fire storm, searing heat, or incendary bonds.

Scars Meadows [SMS], Guild Leader (Not Recruiting)

On my w/mo:

Rebirth
Flurry
Hundred Blades {E}
Watch Yourself
Galrath Slash
Final Thrust
Healing Signet
Dolyak Signet

8 + 4 Tactics
12 + 1 Swordsmanship
10 + 1 Strength

Dolyak Signet and Watch Yourself... the Shadow Beast's Mark of Pain rarely triggers.

On my mo/me (been toying with this)

Mantra of Recall {E}
Mantra of Inscriptions
Blessed Signet
Signet of Devotion
Reversal of Fortune
Rebirth
Life Attunement
Divine Boon

10 Inspiration
10 + 2 Protection
11 + 1 Divine

Mantra of Recall works nicely, not a big fan of Energy Drain since it now has a 30s cooldown. Both builds are for FoW since I haven't ventured past smites in UW for quite some time now.

Servants of Fortuna [SoF]

My usual healer build for Fow is:

Orison of Healing
Kiss of Dwayna
Heal Other
Healing Breeze
Peace and Harmony {E}
Smite Hex
Rebirth
Vengeance

Maxed out Healing Prayers and Divine Favor with the remaining points in Smiting. Of course it will be adjusted depending on party setup. If we have more than two monks I'll put a little more in Smiting and bring Zealot's Fire for example. I always make sure at least one party member brings some hex removal. I've seen more than one party getting owned by Spiteful Spirit...
