well i mentioned this on another thread but i guess he/she thought it was off topic, so what do you guys think about this idea? its a toggle for arrow controls, you know how you can move your char by using the arrow keys but when you bring up the chat bow you just move up to previous messages youve typed, well when you put the arrow toggle on, that wouldnt happen, you would be able to move and talk at the same time lol this sounds like a stupid and very little idea, but i think it would make a big diffrence at least for me

i usually use autorun if i need to move while typing. i wonder if you can just remap the movement keys to something like the numpad and turn off num-lock..

i think it means just to click where you want to go and type while your running there. never heard it refured to as autorun. anyway - that's the best way to do it.

yeah thats what i end up doing while im typing but, its alot easyer for me to move with the arrow keys, its less lag or something (or at least feals like it)

autorun = double tap forward or W. you will keep running in a straight line, or you can control direction by holding the right button and moving your mouse.

uhhh...you can auto run in this game, as in not just clicking and it going there...
double tap forward and all u have to do is steer.

while auto running, u can type and steer with the mouse, im not 100% sure if u can steer with arrows and have the chat thing up, cuz the arrows might just move the cursor or w/e u call it. will have to test it

Whosa, you use the Arrow Keys to move? It might make it easier for you if you used the WSAD keys for movement... it puts your hand closer to the Numbers, making it easier to select things...
I normally don't even use the A or D keys to turn... I just hold the Right Mouse buttong while running forward to swing my camera and character. The best part about using W to run is that you're not often using W in any words, so you can type and run if you practice a little. I mean, you DO use W in words, but it's not overly common, not like an I or an O or something. Overall, it really comes down to whatever feels most comfortable for you.

well if you use arrow keys to move u have an xtra hand to use, either to type or use skills, i guess the same is for wasd, but im just used to the arrw keys, and if you go forward with w in chat wont just a bunch of w's show up? or does it not do it because you in "auto run"

i have autorun on the numlock key and mapped all my skills to the numpad by slot. so i strictly mouse and numpad this game. rarely chat outside of teamspeak. usually only in towns or to tell ppl things like, "stay together." "don't run out range of my heals while i am resting." "oh, you died? well my mana still low and now i gotta fight this thing you aggroed on me so stop typing rez over and over" actually i should just macro those since i have to say them so often in PUGs.
