I think what this game really needs is the ability to further personalise the feel of the guilds and characters alike.
Speaking in those terms instead of a storage enlargement wouldnt it be cool that we could buy our own houses in which we could store things and decorate them (with housing objects bought off merchants which we could dye). Money sink would be in expensive furniture and alike and maybe even te ability to spend faction points unlocking further special decorations. Certain items could be specialised by profession. So Necromansers could have all kinds of weird artwork for instance giving u the ability to flesh out your character and other professions could have their own specific items. Dont tell me a warrir wouldnt want an armor or a weapo stand in this house - one which he/she could mount with some of the weapons in their collection. Possibilities are endless but i know id a lot of cash decorateing my house. The idea of scattered houusing items on collectors or crafters on the map comes to mind aswell. Furthermore you could have added storage which could be spent on those additional armors for instance (id like to have all 4 ascended sets with each of my chars but whats the point when theyd take too much room). Wouldnt it be great to visit a m8s house and see the beautyfull job he/she has done.
On the other hand Id like to see some guild specific items (if only for decoration) which we could buy with facton points so we could have banner stands statues fountains etc. Maybe the possibility of unlocking crafters in your hall so u dont have to storm the maps looking for spec material changes you could do it in your hall.
I think this kind of approach would further blend PvP and PvE styles of play into something which has a common purpose. I heard many ppl saying I mostly do PvP or i mostly farm but hey would u only farm and have a dull Guild Hall???

and my reply is the same.
"you need to play fable. of course, fable isn't a MMORPG.
i think this would be WAY too much for guild wars. they are going to be offering customizations for guild halls at some point. that should be good enough. it's not that hard to buy your own hall, invite people over (they just added guild guest option).
any more would just be out of the scheme of the game, i think."
except to emphasize that they ARE bringing some sort of guild hall customization (details not released yet).
