I dunno if I am just going crazy, but I feel that the current way to detect how many enchantments are being run on a single char so we know whether or not to use certain skills such as desecrate enchantments and rend enchantments isn't very good...
Ways to improve this:
1. Maybe a x5 after the Yellow arrow or something?
2. Some slighty diff. arrow visualization to show it.

I think it's fine the way it is people with enchants have a swirly aura around them...but
i think you should have to use some intuition to tell who's running the most.
Like, look at the team spread, what chars are they, smiting monks? eles? warriors? Which types of these characters in a group like this run many enchantments..? HMM..
I think if you added a way to tell how many enchantments were being run...we would see a lot more mesmers/people running removals. and teams could be taken apart very easily this way...too easy if you ask me.

not clear enchantment and hex on opponent bring the game onto another playing field, because you will need to keep watch and keep communicated... this seperate good team and bad team greatly.

Well your teammates wont know how many enchantments are on a single char either, so there goes that idea
Lol, im sorry if all of us E/Mo's don't stack enchantments.

So, no one here thinks they should make some way for you to know how many enchantments are on a single char?

If you have Desecrate Enchantments you can work out how many enchantments they have from the extra damage - the base your decision to use Rend on that...

it costs 15 energy, I shouldnt have to waste it to figure out how many enchantments are on someone.... what if its just one? barely a scratch.

Rend em' anyway!!! Make sure you're n/w for the frenzy during rend!!
As a necro I just rend and get healed by my monks.

If you look closely at enchanted targets, there's tiny icons hovering about. One each for every different enchant type.
As for the number of each enchant, meh. Yeah guess you gotta problem there.

I have no idea what you're trying to say but I get the idea that you don't know who to shatter/rend/etc. If not then I suggest you do some research into PVP teams and builds and then you'll know what you're fighting when you see the team spread, or when the fighting starts. Once you figure that out and once you get good at it, you'll know who to desecrate/rend/shatter/etc. to right off the bat. I just think that if you had an automatic indicator telling you what and how many enchantments the target opponent was using it would be in a way cheap and lame. Many builds and characters would be taken apart very easily by someone who knew nothing ( just knew to click on the guy with all the enchantments ). Also many potentially new and surprising builds, like running tons of enchantments on an unexpected character class ( say necro, while we all suspect people to run enchants on eles, wars, monks) would prove futile at the new point and click system you wish to be installed into PvP.
I guess each one of those spells is sort of a gamble in order for you to hit the right guy, but if you know the enemy's strategy..it won't be too hard. I really don't see this as such problem.

I'm not sold on the game telling you how many enchants/hexes/conditions are on an opponent, but I do believe the party window should say how many enchants, hexes, and conditions are on an ally. This would be a boon for monks, who would know then which removal spell to use.
