I hope this is right spot to post this. I had a BAD EXP last night, during update. A bunch of our guildies, myself included, lost all contact with guild. It dropped cape, hall, kicked us out. I had to put my guildies on friends list to keep in contact. After a few reboots, I was able to get my guild back. However, this morning I still had a few guildies without access to guild channel. I sent a letter to GW tech support, but I was wondering if anyone else had this same problem?
I FREAKED OUT!! -

Huh, as I understand it, even if it doesnt look like you are in a guild, as long as no one hit the 'kick' button or the 'leave' button on your character then you are still in the guild, even if this bug occurs. What is most likely happening is that the guild information is not getting transmitted to your computer due to some error, so you end up looking like you are guildless, however you are still in your guild and usually relogging will fix it (if the bug gets fixed on anets side in the meantime).

This happened to several guild members (including myself) the night that SF was put into the game. We were fighting in ToPK, died, and when we teleported back to the starting area, none of us were guilded. In our guild gump it said "unable to retrieve active guild information" or something like that. I re-booted and it was fine but it took a few tries for everyone to be back to normal.

happened when sf update came out to me if the guild leaders list still shows you as a memeber you have nothing to worry about just log off for like half an hour and it should be fixed when you relog in .

If you experience this issue after an update, please try logging out for at least 10 minutes and then logging back in. For most players the issue is rectified by doing this.
Unfortunately this issue occurs for some players who log in immediately after updating; as pointed out by another poster above, you should still be a member of your guild.
