Quick, effective, high damage?

I'm looking to set up a build where I can deal high damage quick and be done with it. I was thinking war/ele so I can deal major damage but still have that health as a backup. So which class setup has the best combo of direct attack, high dmg skills opposed to DOT skills like bleeding?

Warrior and Ranger both have skills that can deal DoT alongside high dmg single / comboed shots...

warrior necro could be good choise too

So do you think ranger/ele would be a better single, high-dmg blow than a war/ele?

Good damage output...

I like IW Warriors, even though they are hard to play. They are Mes/War that use Illusionary Weaponry and things that increase attack speed to do lots of damage fast. See In-Depth in the Build Directory.

Another great damage machine is the War/Ele listed in the Warrior Basics sticky of this forum that uses Battle Rage and Conjure Flame.

I eventually settled with war/ele and I'm happy with it so far. Any other suggestions as to what to do from here are welcome.
