However, I would suggest that you go through the "Guild Wars" layer again and remove all of the black background from where you pulled that from, since it's easily visible as of now, especially on the lighter colored shots. Thanks for the idea I'll work on that. I'm okay with photoshop, but i'll see what I can do....

Did you use the Background eraser when you went through it, or did you try to do it by hand? It took me a while to figure out what everything did, and I can help if you'd like, though I'm definitely no expert in anybody's book.
I really love how it's just scenic shots without all of the character on it and all the nasty interface. It really shows the true beauty of the world Arena Net put together.
I was also wondering, this may have just been my computer but I had inconsistencies in removing the interface. Can someone tell me once and for all what the key combo is to take a scshot w/o the interface?

Yeah but I remembered toggling with that and ctrl and a bunch of others and sometimes I would get the interface and sometimes I wouldn't.
Since you apparently seem confident that it's shift I'll try that out again next BWE and if it doesn't work at least I'll know it's on my end not the game's end.

I did it by hand. It was kinda annoying, but when I put my mind to thing I can accomplish anything.... There is a lot I don't know but time is my limiter...

I hated that. Ctrl is just to close to shift for it's own good. Specially when time is short. So I wasn't the only one that had the problem with the UI being in the picture....

But yeah, if you ever have a solid background like that and the image you want is off a totally different, unrelated color, than just try Background Eraser, it'll make your life much easier, even if you have the motivation to erase all of the background by hand.
If you're cutting out characters from backgrounds, then you'll want to go with Magnetic Lasso, just for future reference. A little tricky to handle, but it works wonders on time saving...

I'm assuming the ones that had the interface in them are the ones with the gray-greenish borders on the outside? I hadn't really thought about it before, but now that you mentioned that, it would make sense. I made the same mistake of leaving the interface in a few times, I ended up just deleting those pictures though and taking some new ones at our Guild Hall, which turned out much nicer than any of the old ones had been.
The update is in there
Dead due to Imageshack...
And not all with the border have UI in it. I decided to be a little creative and add the border if you look at the file name (gwe_a0003a.jpg) there is a core file (gwe_a0003.jpg) on my HD. 100Gig drive and 75% is video editing and Images which I do for fun....
