Expert Salvage

Ok so i have this defensive smiting staff of fortitude...and the fortitude wrapping is plus 29 health...i want to get it off but i dont know the chances of me getting it rather then it being just salvaged...can someone please tell me the chances or tell me what to do?

All I can say that it isn't 100% that you will get the wrapping. I salvaged my warriors armor to get the Superior vigor and I got 9 leather squares...and I used a Superior expert salvage.

Well, are the mods on the staff good like the others or would anyone wanna buy it. If not do it...you got nothing to lose.

It's up to you. If you use an Expert/superior Salvage kit you have a chance of getting the rune or upgrade from the item.

In your case you have a chance of getting either the Fortitude wrap, Defensive staff head or craft material's. There is no guarantee you'll get either upgrade no matter which kit you use.

So you need to decide on whether you want to risk loosing the staff for a chance at the upgrade, or just leave the staff as it is and either use it or sell it as-is.

well the other mod is a +5 armour always

If you want one of the upgrades, just go for it.

There's a good chance you'll get it, and if not, another one will drop one day.

uhm 29hp and 5 armor is pretty good... does it have a increased recharge or casting speed thing ? and max dmg and what req ?

a "superior" expert kit is no better than a regular expert kit, it just has more uses.

That's pretty good. I have a defensive water staff of fortitude that has pretty much the same stats that I use all the time as one of my weapon sets (the other 3 sets has a charr bonus sheild for fighting charr, a deathsbane weapon for Kyrata undead, and a good cane/artifact combo). If you can't use it though, u might as well salvage to try to get the upgrade up want (since demand for non-Gold/Green weapons is pretty low right now).
