What would you like to see in Chapter 2?
Mike Legend
I want them to tweak the AI so that characters don't get stuck so easily.
I hold Alt in a town to see where storage is and click on the Xunlai Agent's name so my guy will run to them, only to watch him get stuck behind some boxes or another NPC on the way.
I love the detail of the game because it looks so spectacular, but it's so frustrating when you're running away from some enemies and your guy gets stuck on a crack in some stairs or on a tiny bit of hill that you could easily run down - thus often exposing you to a horrible flamey death.
I know it's only a minor detail, but it's something that's annoyed me since day one of playing GW.

The whole point of the Sanitarium is for people to express their ideas.
I would like to see more professions and skill sets (like weapon sets), so I can switch builds easily. I would also like to have 2 elites loaded - maybe one from each profession.
Also, though I have already said this a few times in other threads, I would like to be able to do things other than kill mobs - like crafting, trading (proper trading). Basically create my character a real 'life' in Tyria.

Dear Arenanet,
More same, please.
But seriously, stuff I would like to see:
1. Make the cutscenes in missions work like the cutscenes in GvG - when you hit skip, you are dumped into the next area. Anyone who wants to watch it can stay, but they'll have to catch up.
2. I don't want to see the party size increased but I would like to see missions where two teams of 8 work together.
3. World events! Preferably they should start before Chapter 2, but just make them happen!
4. Day/night and perhaps seasons?

when it comes to skill slots in this game, 8 slots is good but 10 might be better. Who knows if it will be beneficial or not. We haven't tried it yet. So, for now, in this case it is just a "want," but if the result is good I might "need" it
The thread asked me what I want to see in chapter 2, so I answred I want to have more skill slots.

Better pets,
pet's as mounts,
customizable pets,
pet dyes,
pet armor
and More more more more pet variation and skills!
-----------------------
Everything that has to do with varying character appearence including more armors, facial features
-----------------------
A much much better dye system than the one currently in place (I'd like my yellow dye to dye yellow! NOT purple!)
----------------------
Make the new proffession a roguish proffession please please please!
---------------------
When characters leave please replace them with henchmen (we lose hours of our time if not! Don't punnish us for a community based game when the player's don't commit!)
---------------------
Better smiting skills for the monk so he can become a anti-undead caster of sorts.

all the skills are useful, it depends on how and when you use them, if you can't figure out that you won't be able to use the newer 'useful' skills either ;p

AUCTION HOUSE!!!
If you dont feel like spending 3 hours trying to sell that good purple wand just put it in the auction house, put selling price at 2K and go kill some more stuff.
Armor mods would be nice too. (like runes but permenant, like increase speed)

The Mighty Toe
Guild Alliances. Epic Battles. A Guild War. A playable event. A series of missions wherein your guild members (only those willing though) and yourself (obviously) must fight against other guilds. Parties of up to 16 people?
Mission: You return to Ascalon, the White Mantle are pushing through the Shiverpeaks and allying with the Charr to make a final attack on the country (Free chosen groups).
Cut Scene: Main force is destroyed. Accusations of sabotage. Guilds go against each other.
Mission: Your guild vs. other guild in a pitched battle. Just on a piece of land. Maybe a few trees.
Mission: The losing team or the only team with a guild hall are pushed back to their Guild Hall. Destroy them all.
Comments?

2 elites maybe good. Most of us use the elite of the primary profession because it works well with the primary profession. the secondary elites becomes useless because primary prof. elites are more needed. if we can have 2 elites in the skill bar then we can really appreciate having 2 professions.

I would like to see,in the Guild Roster of names. Against the members name, their level and professions. Please
Tactical-Dillusions
2 elites? Are you crazy? lol
That would open up dozens of invinci builds!

Some skills are elites just because of how abusable they are with other elites.
I would like to see a built-in AI that skips a cutscene if you're getting attacked in it.
Or, even better, doesn't allow enemies to join you in cutscenes. There's always one person who doesn't skip and is then surprised when half the party is dead.
The undead Mesmer
the only thing i whant is this
TENGU BEING A PLAYEBLE RACE

A User Name
Yeah i agree that the lvl cap has to stay, but 2 elites are just insane. Some builds would just become unkillable. But other than that everything sounds good hope Anet does it.(especially the new classes).
NightOwl
More arenas. Perhaps a series of arenas similar to the trek to Glint?
Sooner is fine too though!

Don't agree with keeping the characters at level 20. It took, what? Four hours to reach level 20? And you want to play another twelve hours without gaining anything but skill points and skills?
You can raise the levels but not really gain much of any stats when you do. An attribute point every 5 levels, whatever, don't care. But there's a difference between grinding and just having nothing to do, which is what GW has wrong with it. There's nothing to do beyond just endlessly farming to get FoW armor or farming for skill points to get 'em all. There are no side jobs to perform to identify your avatar's personality beyond picking an initial class. (In other games, being an armorer doesn't necessarily mean you're doing it for the sake of grinding for levels as an armorer, you're doing it for the pleasure of setting up a virtual shop and knowing people are coming to you for goods, because you are known in the world as being good at what you do.)
Et cetera. Basically, chapter 2 needs more personality, not a game of balancing stats by playing it safe.

Yeah, I knew I was pushing my luck with the 2 elites thing. I just find it so frustrating as a Mo/N having to load Offering of Blood (my personal preference), or as Mo/Me - Energy Drain.
I really want to start using my Monk elites, but when it comes down to it - they're nothing without good energy management,
