PC: Staff Wrapping of Protection Prayers +1 (20%)

These items are hard to price. There was a discussion earlier this week about 20% death wrappings going for over 100k. That's not the same of course, but since protection is a pretty common skill, and these wrappings are fairly rare, I think 100k would probably be acceptable to the right buyer, then again, if these are more common, or if nobody is looking for one, maybe not.

I would imagine 20% protection wrap would be worth quite a bit. 100k is a fair buy for a wrap that you can put on your favorite Holy Staff.

But if you're using Protection, you're nearly always going to be using enchantments, and by that measure, a 20% enchantment wrapping would be infinitely more useful then a chance at getting a +1 to it. Hence I don't think it will be too popular.

Not true, the 20% enchant wrap would only apply to enchantments cast on the Monk only. Many of the Protection enchants have infinite duration as long as the Monk has sufficient energy to maintain (on someone else). Secondly, most Protection spells are cast on other players. Both of those reasons make a 20% enchant wrap a POOR choice for a Protection Monk.

The +1 however, can make the difference in many of the enchants Life Bond/Life Barrier and Protective Bond all have bonuses when you have a 17 protection instead of 16.

yeah I saw a staffwrap like this going for 100K. I'd say around there. 80K would make a quicksale probably. Goodluck selling it.

I dont think protection is one of the highly sought after 20% staff wraps.

Fire is for sure, and the necro staff wraps , but i ono about protection.
