The reason I give this huge range is that for most people Malinon's Shield (+45/-2) is the way to go for 80-100K. Stone Summit Shields used to be rare... and then came the Furnace and all the chests with it. Also, there has been a shift towards shields with double mods as most people who have been playing this game for a while already have the +45 shield(s) that they always use.
