Lightning Weapons and Iron Mist.

If I'm correct,which I probably am but im just double checking,we'll say, a lightning haft..make my attack skills such as Eviscerate be lightning based as well..So that it may do damage if I have placed Iron Mist on a opponent.

Iron mist- as long as your damage is lightning based, it will hit for damage (no, mesemer skills don't hurt)... DoT also hurt.

Yep. Say you're a R/E with a lightning bow: You can shoot 'em, poison 'em, make 'em bleed....and they just stand around and take it
