W/mo solo farming

Is it possible to be a successful Hammer based W/Mo20 and solo farm? Should I spend some money and switch to sword or axe? I'm a W/Mo20 right now, 14 in hammer mast, 9 in tactics, 11 in healing and around 8 in strength. Those might vary, as I am at school right now :P I find it difficult to make and gold right now, besides going through FoW and UW and getting some lucky drops, in which i haven't gotten anything decent yet, aside from a few obsidian shards. I've tried all kinds of things, from making myself heavy at smiting, etc. I was debating saving up some money and eventually buying a chaos axe of a sword, but i just can't seem to make enough :P Does anyone have an suggestions when it come to hammer/warrior or just warrior builds when it comes to farming?

The WaMo solo builds aren't reliant on a specific weapon type. You can make it work with any weapon.

Im not too familiar with a hammer warrior but ive used sword and axe. I farm with an axe. Not because of more damage but to heal myself using vigorous spirit and live vicariously. As i heal +20 health for every hit i make. I do the most damage using symbol of wrath and balth'ss aura.
