Thanks, Ziggy Wiggy: I appreciate you keeping me informed, but I was actually looking for a sword pommel (though axe grip would work too), and I'm going to hold off until I solve the mystery of what is undead according to GW . . . ok np, and if u ever solve that mystery.. fill me in on it.

Gonna take a wild guess and say that enemies with skeleton in their names are the ones that classify as Skeleton enemies. Phantoms, Necrid Horsemen, Hellhounds and the like are probably undead. It's probably a safe bet that if you're going to make a FoW sword that +20% vs. skeletons is the way to go.

Anyway... if I come across one I'll be sure to hold onto it. i'm not so sure about that. the only time that sword would be of use would be against the skeleton warriors/rangers, the berserkers, the icehands, and the ether breakers. i don't think it would be any good against the shadows, abyssals, stalkers, skales, etc, etc. there are too many different types of monsters for any one type of slaying to be all around useful.

if you really want to get the slaying pommels, get the deathbane and pruning ones too. that way, you can switch on the fly like i've noticed nakora doing.

the spider capping service is actually a pretty good idea. i've helped several people cap spiders, and they have all offered to pay the party members. so, it's not so far fetched.
