This is a fun build to try out for people who would rather not a monk class in there solo build. Be warned it will require some practice before getting it right but when you do start getting good with it, you will want to rub it in those solo monk faces with all there shiny runes and tatoos.

Desert Griffons are location outside of Augury Rock and drop a couple purples and gold items every run.

N/Me Griffon Hunter
12 inspiration
16 curses
Spiteful Spirit {E}
Arcane Echo
Insidious Parasite
Enfeebling Blood
Energy Tap
Parasitic Bond
Mantra of Resolve
Physical Resistance

~70 AR armor will help too.
~You can drop some inspiration or curse and put into soul reap.
~I am using an axe with the modification 'Heavy' which makes enfeebling blood last 20% longer. I am currently trying to find an axe grip of shelter +7
~Always keep Physical Resistance active and if you get jumped by Rockshot's use Mantra of Resolve so they dont interupt you.

When you are gonna pick a fight with the minatours or griffons start off spamming Parasitic Bond on all of them, then once there all on top of you attacing you use enfeebling blood on the center most one, then acane echo and insdious parasite, then use energy tap to gain some energy and use your extra insdious parasite on a diff foe attacking you.

Now that you have them doing almost no damage and 2 of them healing you, wait for 15 energy and then use Spiteful Spirit on center most foe.

Wait for 5 energy and use energy tap again then use enfeebling blood to renew it.

Cycle through the targets and find the enemies with little health left and cast parasitic bond so when they die you get 120+ health.

Pretty much use Insidious and Spiteful on whatever is left over and right before he dies use Parasitic for your 120+ health.

With that build and strategy you can solo each group of griffons or minatours faster then other classes can, but we can only do it 1 group at a time.

Make sure you stay still while fighting them, last thing you want is a rockshot spawning and interupting every action you do.

:edit: refined build and tested it with all your tips.

Parasitic Bond - Hex Spell
For 20 seconds, target foe suffers Health degeneration of 1. The caster is healed for 30-102 Health when Parasitic Bond ends.

that should definately take place of ether feast.. unless you are in serious trouble!

Thanks, I didnt think of that because I was thinking of health now instead of health in 20 seconds.

Yep, actualy when i play my necro i use Parasite Bond on as many
monsters as i can. Because it as a really fast recovery for multy
casting and when each monster dies you constently get healed.
( i see it as a soul reaping for health )

For 30-78 seconds, you gain +40 Armor against physical damage, but you lose 24-14 Armor against elemental damage.

Watch them call nerfs on necros now

Good find with the build

Just as note, so not to confuse people, the skill is not "Ether Tap". Its "Energy Tap". At least, from what he describes, thats what he's useing. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Also, I love this build. I've been playing around with something like it for a while now. It helps if you actually take one rank out of Inspiration, and put those points into Soul Reaping. At least for me, because I find I'm running out of Energy as soon as things start dieing.

Oh, and I also use a random no requirment sword instead of a wand for damage. It just makes sure I can get up all close and personal.

Depending on how many you're taking on, you might want to swap Energy Tap for Chanelling.

Ok I refined the build, I am now using a Heavy Chaos Axe because it makes enfeebling blood last longer, and I use Parasitic Bond instead of Ether Feast for health. Thanks for the tips guys.

The last thing I need to complete build is an Axe Grip of Shelter +7 so if anyone has one willing to sell to me please PM me or add me to friends list if I am not online.

If you put some points into Blood Magic - Unholy Feast could do wonders for your HP in desperation.

It has 30 second recharge time, cost 15 energy, what skill would I replace for it? If enfeeble runs out is when I start taking alot of damage so best thing to do is recast it and drop some more insdious parasites to gain health.
