Where do I get charcoal?

Where do I get charcoal and what do I need to get it?

Right outside Fort Ranik is a guy who will make charcoal for you. It costs 10 wood and I think 150 gold, maybe 200. Something like that. It's pricy, so make sure whatever you're going to use it for (or the steel ingot you'll make with it) is worth it.

where to get it:

run south of Ascalon City towards Sardelac Sanitarium, as you go over the big hill going towards Sardelac, to the right should be a NPC near the mountain. he is able to create charcoal for you at a big price!!

what you need to make charcoal, 10 things of wood... (lol dont know the exact name, just know its the wood stick looking things lol) and 200 gold!!!

then boom, you have 1 peace of charcoal

theres other guys like that one thats able to convert stuff for you, later on, when you get farther into the game, you can buy expert crafting kits that cost 400g with 25 uses so you can do it yourself.

I found one peice of charr-coal in old ascalon....must be a pretty rare drop aswell, or you can always craft them too like the guys before me said!

Either have it crafted outside Fort Ranik or Sardelac Sanitarium and if you want to find it off a monster, try getting it off the Stone Elemental monsters.
I got ONE only ONE when I was doing a quest and passed by a horde of these beasts and 1 of them happen to drop a charcoal.
But your best bet is crafting it, that is if you have all the required necessities
