Stoping Ranger Spike in the tombs

Fast cast lingering---> Rangers doing duel, punishing, savage. What are the ways to stop a good spike (plz don't talk about bad ones, think of laura's spike)? I have beat it before but most of the times I do it is because of map positioning. I felt like the map determined whether or not I won vs this build. Is there an effective reasonable (it will also be a solid build vs other teams) way to build a team that will defeat this type of ranger spike by other means than map played on?

The rangers have a lot of dmg, but it does seem like if one thing goes wrong in their spike they don't drop the target. I know last night I had mo's running hex breaker which helped some because it decreased the number of lingering targets.
