Hi peeps,
You know I got thinking about Stonefist Gauntlet's effect: Lengthens target's knockdown time.
Does this effect apply to all knockdown effects your target suffers generated from YOU? We know it applies to attack skills, but does it apply to spells/signets like Bane Signet or Whirlwind?
Interesting if it does. Let me know what you guys find out.

Yes, it does. Stonegaunts add roughly a second to any knockdown skill's knockdown time. The average time for knockdown seems to be about 2~3 seconds, so they're a pretty considerable boost to effectiveness.

Follow up question for you Rex,
Is thier a cap on knockdown time duration? I have heard conflicting info about Stonefist Gauntlets and Backbreaker. A solid answer would be appreciated regarding that combo.

You mean, is there some sort of maximum to knockdown times that is reached by Backbreaker and other "super" knockdown skills and that adding the Gauntlets won't do anything to it? No, not to my knowledge.
I have used Backbreaker with and without the Gauntlets, in fact, used Backbreaker to time the Gauntlets (now I think they actually say : "Knockdown+1" way back when they just said "improved knockdown" or something like that.) and I did, indeed, notice a difference in duration. Not much of one, honestly, but enough that I could, say, land another blow or get much further along in the attack animation.
