Inapropriate game name?!!

So after a long morning at the hospitol and college, i come home and decide to play some GW. So i type my pw and try to log in and get this msg:

Your account has been suspended from Guild Wars for using an unacceptable name, which is a breach of the EULA and Rules of Conduct. You will be able to join the game in approximatly 2 hours. (NetErr=45)

my current game names are :
Film mooo
Ghost monster
Goat masterer
Nice wrack (w for mind wrack)

So any suggestions as to why these are so bad? I'm guessing someone has reported me for the name or they wouldn't have even suspended my account. Am i missing something here?! BTW i've had these names for well over 3 months.

The only one I can see as being even slightly offensive is the last one, for the obvious reasons. I don't think it's bad at all, but some might. I'll withhold comment on what I think about that however. Good luck getting it back. Try contacting ANet or someone on the main site...

well I was teamed with a guy who's name was Ben Dover last night in PvP when going from Pre Searing to Post Searing... Ben Dover and Nice Wrack don't seem to be to different lol...

Exactly my point, theres 200,000 other names out there similar or worse than mine. The only reason i could see them singling me out is if someone sent in a bad report.

I do believe thats how all name things get found out, is that someone reported you.

Though there is a quite simple way to avoid this...don't make a name that may offend someone or cause you to get reported...

Yep. If you have to use a cheeky name, you're advised to not to piss anyone off.

the sad part would be that he may not know that the name was cheeky in the first place.

and when they are reported they will be investigated and cleared or suspended.

they only have so many people so there is a waiting list and it may take time to get to you.

the goat one might have been a second choice which would have been more obvious if you used a sheep......EWE

Yep ANET bans ppl with fun, harmless & silly names. Names however that are extremely vulgar, racist or just plain rude are given free rein. I suggest you rename your character to something like I Lynch Ni*gers(w/o the asterisk of course) or I Cook Jews. That way you will never get your named banned.

I have a friend who's had a character named: B I A T C H
and he's been playing for months also. His account wasn't suspended.

Must be someone who reported you.

I also saw a guy in Droknar with Mad Arabs as a name

theres a treadmill of profanity, other words simply take the space of previously profane words. its hillarous.

Trivia: in Swedish 'rackare' is an old name for the executioners assistant.

Fact: Silly/offensive names will get you suspended if someone reports you, and bitching about it doesn't help/matter/make anyone care. Deal with it.

Well in a fit of immaturity, I briefly ran Rosey Palm and Five Sisters as pvp names before returning to my usual Maya Calandra. I was never reported for either name though.

I'm glad you feel so inclined to help the situation. The reason i posted on the forums was to see weather or not the community felt offended my the names, and to see if someone else might have had this problem and how it was resolved. But you can go ahead and flame too, thx
