So after a long morning at the hospitol and college, i come home and decide to play some GW. So i type my pw and try to log in and get this msg:
Your account has been suspended from Guild Wars for using an unacceptable name, which is a breach of the EULA and Rules of Conduct. You will be able to join the game in approximatly 2 hours. (NetErr=45)
my current game names are :
Film mooo
Ghost monster
Goat masterer
Nice wrack (w for mind wrack)
So any suggestions as to why these are so bad? I'm guessing someone has reported me for the name or they wouldn't have even suspended my account. Am i missing something here?! BTW i've had these names for well over 3 months.

The only one I can see as being even slightly offensive is the last one, for the obvious reasons. I don't think it's bad at all, but some might. I'll withhold comment on what I think about that however. Good luck getting it back. Try contacting ANet or someone on the main site...

I do believe thats how all name things get found out, is that someone reported you.
Though there is a quite simple way to avoid this...don't make a name that may offend someone or cause you to get reported...

and when they are reported they will be investigated and cleared or suspended.they only have so many people so there is a waiting list and it may take time to get to you.

Yep ANET bans ppl with fun, harmless & silly names. Names however that are extremely vulgar, racist or just plain rude are given free rein. I suggest you rename your character to something like I Lynch Ni*gers(w/o the asterisk of course) or I Cook Jews. That way you will never get your named banned.

if you did report them thanks as they said if you dont report it we cant fix it

Well in a fit of immaturity, I briefly ran Rosey Palm and Five Sisters as pvp names before returning to my usual Maya Calandra. I was never reported for either name though.

the point is that it doesnt matter what we think here.the simple fact is that some player was offended enough to put in a report on your name and Anet agreed that it was a nice try but no cigar.
earlier you would have had to delete the character loot and all so a simple rename is easy.

among the 50,000 vulgar names i had no clue i was 'rolling dice' if i had any idea whatsoever that my account could have been suspended for having a silly name like 'nice wrack' would i have created it? of course not. This is why i feel i should not be suspended. Now if i had a name like B*tches aint SHhhhh. i might not feel so bad about the situation.

UPDATE: my suspension has been lifted as i refused to 'take it in the butt' and remained resiliant, none of my names were changed.... thank you to all the people who said SUCK IT UP. JUST PAY THE PRICE. LIFE SUCKS and so on
