+5 energy sword with furious & enchantment

This is obviously the discontinued +5 collector's sword from the Henge.
I currently have a 6% furious and 18% enchantment on it. I'm wondering what the value of it is now and if I should put perfect mods on it to get a better price. Any advice is appreciated.

thanks!

Don't mod it - the market price for the sword alone is very very high right now. The mods won't make much difference, and the 18% enchantment mod isn't too shabby.

I would be that you can get at least 50K for it, and I've seen some sell as high as 100K.

Thanks! Since this is a discontinued item. Do you think I'm better off holding it for the price to go up or let it go while it's popular?

I've been debating that...everyone seems to want one since the nerf is fresh on their minds.

However, as more people join Guild Wars and realize that the +5 sword and the +12 icon is the best combo for a spellcaster, I would expect that the price would only increase.

You can put a hilt and a pommel on it. Mine has both

it's a blue item and there's already two mods on it as stated.

I have several of these swords. I think there will be an increase slowly with their value, then a drop off, and then when the expansion is released and people are interested in the game and the "old treasures" again, they will pay extremely well for them, as they are the perfect item for casters. The price will probably climb to around 150K as the scarcity is felt, but there are plenty of people who horded them, and prices will drop back down to 100K. At the time of the expansion, it will be anyone's guess, but my guess is they will be worth a small fortune.

Unless the mods decide to nerf it like the Henge of Denravi bow...

By the way - what IS the best hilt for this sword? The enchanting pommel is a no brainer, but the hilts have me dumbfounded. You definitely aren't attacking with it (unless you're really inventive with your build), so that basically throws all of them out except for maybe furious or zealous, but both of those requiring attacking with it.

Enchanting isn't necessarily the best pommel. It is almost certainly the best pommel for a monk using the sword, but other casters are still better off with an HoD sword and a great focus and may prefer a perfect fortitude or defense pommel. The hilt, though, is absolutely irrelevant, because the sword is used by casters. Just don't stick a vampiric or zealous one in there. I tend to stick fun elemental ones in mine for the RPG element of matching the look of my caster (shocking or icy, usually), but it is probably smartest to stick nothing at all in the hilt slot.

i orignally put on the furious hilt to get bonettis to charge faster so that i could gain energy and offset damage as needed. i think it works but i never got a chance to test it without the hilt.
