Thinking about getting GW..

I am considering buying GW over the summer, and I have a few questions I want to ask.

First of all, how is the movement in the game? Is it like diablo where you just click to go where you want, or is it like WoW where you use the keyboard(wasd) and mouselook?

Also, is guild war primarily focused around PvP? And if so, how gear-dependant is it? I've read that one of the features is that you can create a character at capped level that is limited to only pvping. How much weaker would that character be if it doesn't have the best gears you could get from pveing?

PVPing is pretty fun, but not a major part in the game.

As far as I know, the only thing you get from PvP is a guild hall.
