Looking to buy a few short bows with that are:
13>50 or better
req 10 or lower
Seems everyone wants halfmoons, no one wants short bows; but I like them. Paying 3k each and mods don't matter; though I will pay extra for slaying mods of 18% or better.
Offering 13k for the old Denravi bow; not willing to pay much more on this as I hate the look and have an Ithas bow.
Looking for shields:
Green metallic w/ +18% or better in air or earth, possibly water; permanant health or health/-2 while enchanted I'd pay more for.
Shields with no req with AL 8 or better and either permanant health or stanced health & -2 stance with the following looks: Ornate (the orange/black), skeleton, shadow, stone summit & crimson carapace. I realize that the latter 3 might not be available in an unreq'd form; but occasionally I've seen shields pre-searing with differnet names.
Skeletal/shadow/stone summit/ornate with +18% or better to blood, curses or death; permanant health or health/-2 while stanced I'd pay more for.
Except for the Denravi I'd consider these nitch items that aren't overly popular; so I might have a chance of affording them, as I don't jingle when I walk as some of the elder traders here do.

Would also be interested in a max storm artifact with req 8-9, +5 AL, +45 hp, +18% air/earth or better. Would pay fairly well for this one.

If you're only spending 3k for a bow you might as well get the collectors short bow it has max damage (req 9) and 15>50 mod in it. Use the "search" button if you wanna know hot get 1.

I hate to digress from your stated objective, but I do have a 17<50 req 8 shorty I could part with for 3K I suppose, that is, if you wanted an under 50 to match your over 50.

Going to have a hard time finding a bow like that for the price you are offering I am afraid. Probably why you haven't gotten any offers.
I do have a purple Firey Short Bow of Markmanship, 12>50, Max dmg(req 8), +11% marx(replaceable). I will sell that for 5k. Although I think it is worth more. But I have enuff elite bows now so I don't use it anymore.

Alright, the unsolicited advice has crossed over into the realm of "must flex my l33t tradez know3dge"; and will shortly result in a fresh thread come Monday. I'll attempt therein to provide ample justifications, as well as more stringent reply guidelines.
id0l, I'm going to decline but I do appreciate your courteous offer. However, we'll give the new batch of folks a shot at comprehension on this thread, as I've tea to finish drinking before I'm for sleep: 1) The short bow "skin" is the most common form of the short bow; the rare, and more highly sought after, being the halfmoon. These are obtainable from any and all zones, they are not specific like the more highly prized storm and eternal. 2) With recent changes to both MOB drops and chest rewards, items with better statistics are much more plentiful. And, since new players are likely to only trickle in until the next chapter release, overall demand is in a state of steady decline. 3) With the advent of the green items, a plethora of bows inclusive, maxed out weapons are even more accessable. A) I'm patient. I do not as yet have an imediate need for the bows I am purchasing; I do, however, anticipate such in the semi-near future...hence I've started purchasing now. B) Most people are not patient; and as this is a game for entertainment, such is not required of them. However, after repeated attempts to sell items for "what it's worth", people will often part with their non-perfect items for a considerable discount...bank space being rather limited. C) I have purchased bows (yes, plural) that meet my needs at my stated price. So yes, they are available at the quoted price. Items 1-3 should be sufficient to explain the economics involved and items A-C should cover the logical end. It'll have to for now, as I'm done with my tea. |
