As well as life siphon for degen/healing. Veratas is to heal my horrors whilst sacrificng health and dark pact... Same as Touch of Agony.

NO ONE KNOWS WHAT AURA OF THE LICH DOES! But if you read between the lines, you'll find out that it effectively halves all sacrificing dmg too. Thus, blood renewal is actually good/keeps you healed the whole time. Use life siphon if you need a lil extra health. But the best part about this build is that you can put on dark aura, and keep spamming and spamming touch of agony/dark pact. That is a 200 dmg combo with the attributes i have above. So in conclusion, aura of the lich pwns, unless you get degened. Health degeneration is aura of the lich's bane, but it works really well against straight dmg. And you can use plague touch to get conditions off you before they do much harm, unless of course your facing a degen spiker. In which case you are SCREWED. But yeah, this build can take out any kinda ele(emo? arguable), warrior, and any but the best interrupt rangers.
I'd recommend having a 20% enchant(or any other number) mod because having to recast dark aura and aura of the lich really cuts into your spamming energy.

I have a friend who has been running the dark aura/AoTLich necro for a while. He calls it necro-smite. The potential damage for this guy is insane, particularly vs poeple who dont know what dark aura is ><

Actually, Aura of the Lich should quarter your sacrifice damage. First it halves your life, thereby halving the sacrifice damage you take since sacrifices are a percentage of your current maximum life, and then it halves all damage you take from all sources on top of that. The drawback to it is DOTs will ruin you twice as fast as they would normally.

I had 28hp as a 55build of the Arua of lich dark arua user.
smitters did 1 dmg to me...
yeap N/Mo can be fun.
but the life transfer + life siphon is killer even with healing breeze bloof renewal.

Heh, I 've been running my own minion recipe with AotL for a week or so. But there's something special I found that you can now do since the update: Dark Bond. Here are my experiences with AotL minions (15th post at the bottom). I tank with 190 health!

I'd like to hear some feed back on this if possible. I Have almost the same build you have, except you have life siphon and i have vampiric gaze. there is one important you didnt metion about arua of lich.
Aura of the lich, For 72 secs with 20% duration enchancement, your maximum health is halved, but you take half damage and half healing from all sources. But that does not include regen, degen, and life gain. Life gain are spells such as Vampiric gaze, Vampiric touch, and blood renewal. So when i have aura of lich, i have 175 hp but i take half dmg from all source and half heal from all source. but when i use blood renewal, i lost 50 hp and i gain 6 regen for 12 secs, and when it worns off i gain 190 hp. Just consider the regen and life gain i receive are double which makes me very hard to be killed. so keep blood renewal all the time. Also i have 175 hp because it benefits to use Sacrifice spells.

You'd be surprised how many people KNOW how Aura of the Lich works. Hell an old guildy of mine tried to develop a build around it.
I would replace the Life Siphon for a rend enchant.

You want to spam? Get a ranger secondary and slap on Serpent's Quickness. If you can sacrifice and steal [regen with Renewal is hot now], you'll be doing everything in 2/3 the time!!!

Aotl works great in arena as long as you don't get hit by conjure phantasm + migraine + mantra of persistence mesmer or the annoying IA/Poison Arrow ranger.
