Hey all, I've got a suggestion for a new type of guild that you could join in addition to your current GvG/PvE/Whatever guild.
It's called a Service Guild. It would be a guild where you could not do pvp or gvg, or have a hall or cape. It would be for a group of people who do services for the GW community, such as a group of runners or power levelers. You would have a separate tab on the communications bar so you could talk to the members of your service guild and set up places to meet and coordinate missions or runs. This guild may include a meeting place, not the size of a guild hall, but a place to meet.
Lemme know what you all think about this idea and any suggestions that you have.

You could call yourselves "Runners guild" or "taxi guild" instead and still have the option to gvg etc.

The only reason im suggesting this, is that if people are in a guild that they have been in for a while, but need to coordinate with other people not in their guild if they do runs and such together, a designated service guild would allow this. It would be much easier than 6 people talking about things using whispers.

Thanks for a good idea, but I just feel that isn't really necessary. You have the choice of not doing pvp, or gvg, it's not required. Not having a hall or cape? Unless it was replaced with something else, dunno.
Even as Guild Wars is already a team player game, a group of runners or power levels for others is just a bad idea. Don't like it. For many obvious reasons.
1. Running = a service? People already do that. Besides, places are really supposed to be explored by the player herself or himself. This is just to get new players to places they have never really been before, or maybe just lazy ones, and I feel that channels will be spammed of LFR or what not.
2. Power levlers? WHY? That really isn't a service to the GW community. I feel it's more of an annoyance. Having people already at level 20 without having to work for it is kind of unfair.
Anywas, just 2. Probably a lot more.
