Didn't get too far in the game yet with my N/E but I figure an update to his stats and perhaps strategy is necessary. This is a minion using build utilizing 2 methods of combat. Walking nukes and portable walls. Grenth is Ice/Necro God so I figured this will do it.

12+1+3 Death Magic
8+1 Soul Reaping
10 Ice Magic

PvE build, longest lasting minions of doom
In a place where tanks are important, and a wall of tanks, maybe even more so, this is hot stuff.

Deathly Swarm
Animate Bone Minions
Verata's Sacrifice
Taste of Death
Ice Spikes
Deep Freeze
Glyph of Energy {E}
Res Sig

In PvE, if you're trying to farm, then you can ditch res sig for another offensive skill. Deathly Chill or what not comes to mind. [though the fact that it should be before armor does help bit...] Strategy is for this PvE mode build to bomb its victims using Deathly Swarm and Ice spells to kill and when they go down, summon a very large army in short order. What's the army's purpose? To shield against and damage your foes while lasting a VERY long time in order for you and your team to nuke them using your ranged skills. The Glyph should easily offset the expensive energy this build entails...

PvP mode* Short lived walking nukes

Deathly Swarm
Animate Bone Minions
Death Nova
Taste of Death
Plague Touch
Ice Spikes
Deep Freeze
Glyph of Energy {E}

Ah, the Taste of Death Nova combo. Ideally, since foes don't get tanked in pvp, we want to pump out as much dmg as we can. Therefore, slowing our foes for our minions to catch up and BOMB them to hell using near armor ignoring damage is quite good. The energy again isn't an issue when you look at the recycle times of our big hitters: Ice Spikes, Deep Freeze, Animate Bone Minions.

All 3 of these [beside minions] will benefit from Glyph. Minions isn't too big a deal since corpses don't drop like rain all too often, but you can chain react two Taste of Death Nova combos vs. just one with this build causing some serious pain. If you decide to "stall" the combo letting the poison run its course, that adds on quite well too. ^_^

Any thoughts?

Yes, anti-casters will own this build as well as interrupt types, but it's a caster and it's bound to happen. However, warriors shouldn't be a problem as there are 2 snare skills in here to keep them at bay. When you see them coming, use Ice Spikes and run away to give yourself enough time to cast Deep Freeze. This can stop a warrior train for quite a while giving your team precious time to move into the enemy's danger zone...
