Hi there.

First of all.......
This is just a post of interest, not a question.

I would like too know how fast you could complete the game in,( All missions, best armour, infused ect).

I'd like too know, because I'm going too time myself, and try beat my previous records, but I'm getting an estimate on how long it would take.

Please tell me how long it would take you, just doing missions, not doing quests( only doing the ones for the skills you need to aquire).

Thanks.

Best Regards, Ashleigh.

Does this involve getting runs? Because you could get a run to Beacon's, then a run to Forge, buy max armor and advanced skills... and then basically coast until you hit the Maguuma missions. That's where it seems that the enemies catch up to your gear. That would significantly reduce your play time.

I've never timed myself before... maybe I'll try it.

Probably make for one hell of a boring speed run, but I'd imagine around 20 hours, assuming the character starts with zero gold, runs with only henchmen, and gets no help from anyone through the course of the game.

Not much of an achievement, however you cut it. Go do a speed run of something like Cave Story instead, or bang your head against a wall. The latter actually has a tangible reward, in that you can cash in your severe cuts and bruises for a few days off work.

If you don't complete all quests, seems fairly lame. Or at least complete all the ones giving free skills.

If he's trying to do a speed run, then he'd be better off doing no quests at all, merely relying on the skills he can buy at the few outposts he'll pass only by progressing through missions.

I have everything unlocked (all skills, runes, and weapon upgrades). I also have 400k+ gold, three PvE characters all with 15k armor and every mission/most quests completed.

Total game time: ~680 hours. At least a third of this is PvP, so about 450 hours or so. I have also never farmed

One of the guys in my guild did a 1-20 & Ascension run in ~30 hours or so. He was trying to do it in 24 hours (without a break), but he couldnt get the ascension missions done in time, so he quit and finished it up later. This was without getting ran anywhere except for to the desert missions. If you start off in Ascalon, get ran to droks for armor, you could do all the missions from Ascalon to Kryta easily. What takes a lot of time is the jungle really. I think he got to kryta within 5 hours, and then it took him a while to progress from there.

I'm really bored with the missions before the desert. I have a Mo/W and E/Mo both around the same place (northern shiverpeaks). I think i might get a bunch of scrolls, level them up really fast, get ran to Sanctum Cay and get started with the desert missions.

you can also finish the game (meaning complete the final mission) the shorter way: get run to becon's then droknars, and then do THK + ring fo fire missions. if u wanna ascend, get run to LA -> temple -> sanctum, do desert missions and go on as above.
btw, running on your own from becons to sanctum (with henchies) is very easy anyway.
