Today I get a mssg saying that I broke a rule by self bumping my auction thread. I am new here and I made that mistake once a few day ago, but this time I was replying to a question from a bidder. I had replied 5 minutes after the bidder asked a question. After I replied, I edited and asked if I should have pm'd him. That was yesterday. Today I get the following mssg:

What is a bump? If I had replied in 3 minutes would it have been a bump? My very reasonable auction thread is locked and it doesn't seem to be right.

You aren't supposed to post a new reply AT ALL in your threads within 24 hours...you should reply to the potential buyer by editing your original post.

Those that you have seen do this have slipped by the mods...

are you seriouse? i bump my Auctions some times every 2-10 hours and whenever some one posts in it i then post back to keep it at the front. i must be bad
